Dollhouse Arrives on PS4 with a Spooky Launch Trailer

By Dave Horobin, 6 months ago
Creazn Studio and SOEDESCO's film noir psychological horror game Dollhouse arrives on the PS4 tomorrow, and ahead of the game's release, we've been treated to a spooky new launch trailer that showcases some of the horrors that you can expect to find.

You can watch the launch trailer below:

A Dismal Story

In the Dollhouse Singleplayer story, players delve deep into the mind of mysterious detective Marie. She suffers from amnesia and is now on a terrifying investigation to recover her traumatic memories. Stalked by a strange identity and surrounded by haunting mannequins, she risks her life trying to unveil the truth behind her daughter's death.

Online Murder Party

In addition to the Singleplayer story, Dollhouse also features an online multiplayer mode with fourteen playable characters, like aspiring actress Faith and underworld escort Vesper. Each of the characters has their own story, special abilities and passives.

The multiplayer supports two to eight players, who each get assigned a different target to murder. Players will have to stalk their prey and collect as many memories as possible in order to win, all while eluding their own pursuer and the unnerving mannequins that lurk in the shadows.
Dollhouse launches digitally on the PS4 on May 24th.

We've got the full list of Dollhouse trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.

Yeah they really messed this title by adding multiplayer. I was really looking forward to it & had it pre-ordered, all the while there was no mention of any sort of MP. Then the trophy list comes out & I see these MP trophiescry. Well, I have cancelled my pre-order & now it's a wait & see game. If it's not too bad & the MP can be done quickly, I may get it at a later date, by trying to sneak in MP without announcing it, they lost a Day One from me.warning

I’ll probably get this later down the line, but I do not understand why every game feels the need for a multiplayer mode nowadays. Some games should only have single player.

Messed it up by adding multiplayer??? Really, sounds like your more concerned with messing your completion percentage up or something! It actually adds longevity to the game and sounds something a bit different... But your concerned about numbers/stats that are totally irrelevant clap

Wake up, gaming is meant to be fun...

Many of the early Steam reviews say this game is atrocious with numerous game breaking bugs/glitches including a save corruption glitch that forces you to start the game all over and one where a script load error makes it impossible to progress, and is reportedly broken and unfinished. Like, worse than Agony broken.

So to those who plan on buying this, buyer beware.

I could really do without the multiplayer in a game like this as well...
Hope for the best but expect the worst.

Looking forward to this. Multiplayer is a bonus option to the campaign. Hopefully the game is as good as it looks.
Game On!!!
