We haven't really heard from FINAL FANTASY VII Remake for over two years. The game has been delayed repeatedly and players are starting to wonder what's going on. Rumours started building about the game's possible appearance at E3 thanks to a concert being held in Los Angeles at the same time as the conference, but it seems like we may be seeing the title even earlier than that. Thanks to some cryptic tweets from both Final Fantasy brand manager Shinji Hashimoto and the Final Fantasy official account, rumours are now building that the title will be shown in Sony's second State of Play episode due to be broadcast later today.
During the stream, we will see MediEvil and a brand new unannounced title, but it seems like there will be Final Fantasy news too. Will it be about Final Fantasy VII Remake, or will it be another title with stronger chocobo links, like Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!?
The stream will begin at 3PM PT/6PM ET today, May 9th, and you can watch it with us above. What are you hoping to see?
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake trophies.
