Forklifts Will Return in Shenmue III

Forklift vehicles are a bit of a running joke in the Shenmue series. The first game allowed players to take part in forklift races after Ryo gets a forklift job at the docks. In the second game, the vehicles appeared as a series of capsule toys. Now publisher Koch Media has confirmed the vehicles will be returning in Shenmue III, and if the screenshot is anything to go by, they won't just be collectibles either.

Whether this means that forklift jobs will be an option in the game, or whether players will be able to race them, is yet to be confirmed by the developer. As soon as we hear anything more, we'll be sure to let you know.
