Last week, Concrete Genie was one of several titles to make an appearance during PlayStation's inaugural State of Play video stream. While we learned the game would be delayed until later this year, we also heard about two PlayStation VR modes that Pixelopus were preparing. Few details were available at the time, apart from that they would use Move controllers, but now we have more details on what have been called VR Experience and Free Paint modes.
VR Experience is a separate quest where players follow a Genie called Splotch. He can be found beneath Denska's lighthouse and he's trying to unlock a mysterious power. Pixelopus are being quite vague with this mode, although they do say players will use their Living Paint "in a completely new way".
Once VR Experience has been completed, players will unlock PS VR Free Paint mode. Players can choose between four different locations in Denska to experiment with all of the Living Paint and Genie creation brushes they've collected during their adventures.
Both of the VR modes will also require two PlayStation Move controllers, although the game's core experience will be entirely playable with a controller when it is released this fall.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Concrete Genie trophies.
