Death Stranding Development is Slightly Behind Schedule

By Rebecca Smith, 4 months ago
Since its announcement nearly three years ago, we've not heard a huge amount about Hideo Kojima's upcoming open-world title DEATH STRANDING. Luckily, this doesn't mean that things have stalled behind the scenes. A J-Wave interview with the game's creator reveals the story and design of the game are actually complete. Unfortunately, the title is "slightly behind schedule".

The delay is apparently not that big, and it isn't terribly unusual for a game to lag behind its internal studio release date. Kojima certainly won't be making many compromises to get the game out on time either, and he continues to provide feedback on the title as it progresses.

As there still isn't a public release window, we have no idea how soon we'll be seeing the title. However, as soon as we hear anything else, we'll be sure to let you know.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the DEATH STRANDING trophies.
