EA and Bioware Ask for Help Identifying Anthem's Crashing Bug

By Rebecca Smith, 4 months ago
A few days ago, it emerged some players were having major problems with Anthem. The game would be completely shutting down a player's console at random, with those players sometimes having difficulty turning the console back on. Bioware and EA have recognised that there is a serious issue somewhere with nearly 1,000 PS4s affected so far, and they're now asking players to submit as much information as they possibly can so they can identify the route of the issue.

If you're one of the players who has suffered from a hard crash, the developer is currently looking for the following information: PlayStation Console (PS4, Slim, Pro), PSN ID, whether players reported the crash, and any further information they can provide, such as when the crash takes place and whether players need to take specific steps to reboot their console. This information is being collected in a thread on EA's support website.

When Bioware identifies the cause of the issue and releases a fix, we'll be sure to let you know.
