PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Gets Horizon Zero Dawn Items

By Rebecca Smith,
Horizon: Zero Dawn celebrates its second anniversary today, and to mark the occasion, PUBG Corporation has revealed they'll be offering themed weapon skins and outfits from the game for players to earn in a PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds event beginning on March 5th.

The four different items can be earned through the game in different ways, beginning with the Horizon Zero Dawn Eclipse Top that is awarded to every player who logs into PUBG during the event period. Players can then find the item under CUSTOMIZATION - WARDROBE.

The Horizon Zero Dawn Eclipse Mask can be earned by playing ten matches during the event period. These games do not have to be won, of course. Once you have played your ten games, PUBG Corporation will be distributing the mask every Monday (12AM PST) and Thursday (12AM PST) until the event ends. It can then be found under CUSTOMIZATION - WARDROBE.

The Horizon Zero Dawn Pan can be earned by killing ten opponents with a crossbow during the event period. The item will not be awarded retroactively to players who already have ten kills with the crossbow, but players who have already earned the Shoot the Knee trophy will still be able to earn the skin. If you haven't already unlocked the trophy, be aware that "the event target is independent from ‘Shoot the Knee’ trophy progress". Team kills don't count, but you can kill a downed enemy with a crossbow and it will add one to your tally. Like the Eclipse Mask, once players have killed their tenth opponent, PUBG Corporation will be distributing the mask every Monday (12AM PST) and Thursday (12AM PST) until the event ends. It can then be found under CUSTOMIZATION - WEAPONS.

Finally, the Horizon Zero Dawn Eclipse Kar98k is available for purchase for 8,000 BP. It can be found under STORE - ITEMS throughout the event. Once purchased, it can then be found under CUSTOMIZATION - WEAPONS.

The event will run from March 5th until April 5th, so if you want any of the above content, make sure to complete your objectives before that final date.
