Fortnite (PS4)'s latest update is live, and in celebration of a successful Valentine's event Epic are offering an additional reward that can net you a free Season 8 Battle Pass if you complete a challenge.

Fortnite

Everyone who completes 13 free Overtime Challenges by February 27th will get the Season 8 Battle Pass completely free. In addition gifting is back until February 22nd, and players can send the Heartspan Glider to a loved one for Valentine's Day for free until February 15th (7pm EST). Also, a semi-automatic Infantry rifle is now available in Battle Royale.

Limited Time Modes are now going to be rotated more quickly, with switch-overs occurring on Thursdays and Saturdays. Up first is "Catch", which limits the weapon set to throwables only. Next up is Team Rumble, where two large teams race to 100 eliminations.

You can view the detailed notes for Battle Royale here.

In Creative mode, Props can now be resized to whatever scale creators desire, and a music sequencer will allow players to create their own tunes. In Save the World, the Frostnite Challenge 7 is live which means players will have to face off against a faster and more damaging storm. There's also a powerful new sniper rifle, the Yeoman's Rifle.
