Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Planescape, and More Coming to Console

Skybound Games and Beamdog, who is known for bringing enhanced versions of Dungeons & Dragons games to the PC, have today announced a partnership that will see classic RPGs Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate ll, Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, and Neverwinter Nights coming to console for the first time, both digitally and as physical releases.

Skybound and Beamdog Bringing Beloved RPGs to Console

Skybound Games CEO Ian Howe has this to say:

We’re excited to bring Beamdog’s incredible slate to new platforms for both the dedicated fan and those who will soon discover these adventures for the first time. As longtime fans of Baldur’s Gate and Dungeons & Dragons it’s fantastic to partner with Beamdog as the newest member of the Skybound family.
More details, including specific platforms, will be revealed in the near future, but for fans eager to find out more, you can visit the Skybound Games booth at PAX East in Boston on March 28th to March 31st to see a selection of Beamdog's games on display.
