The private beta for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is underway, and as with any beta, the code you'll be playing represents an in-progress version of the game with some issues and kinks are to be expected.
Throughout the course of the private beta, The Division 2's dev team have promised to publish a list of known problems in the game's forums, however, there are two "high priority" issues that the team want players to be aware of before diving into the action.
We are aware of an issue where your game client will crash after an extended gameplay session. To circumvent this, we recommend that you restart your game client every two to three hours. The private beta for The Division 2 is available from today until February 11th at 10 am CET for players who have pre-ordered the game or signed up for access.
Secondly, on all platforms, if you are outside the game and receive a game invite from a friend within the game, your client will crash at launch. To work around this problem, make sure to start the game first and join group directly from inside the game.
The Division 2 is scheduled to release on March 15th. You can read the first part of our hands-on preview here.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Tom Clancy's The Division 2 trophies.
