Dead Space Developer and Sledgehammer Co-Founder Heads New 2K Studio

By Andy Mills,
Towards the end of last year, Michael Condrey left his position at Sledgehammer Games, the studio he co-founded alongside Glen Schofield back in 2009 after leaving the now shuttered Visceral Games. The director wasn't out of a job for long however as it has been announced that he'll be heading up a new studio for Take-Two, under their 2K label.

Michael Condrey

Little is known about the studio so far aside from being based in Silicon Valley but Condrey is planning to be pro-active when it comes to hiring a diverse workforce. Citing the success of Black Panther and Wonder Woman, Condrey states that diverse teams are "more creative, more innovative, hit deadlines better and ultimately create experiences that are compelling to the broadest audience possible". There's not a lot to go on, but consider us excited from the next project from one of the people behind Dead Space, James Bond 007: Nightfire and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
