Songbird Symphony Creates a Tune in July

By Rebecca Smith,
Joysteak Studios' upcoming musical adventure title Songbird Symphony puts players in the role of a small orphaned songbird called Birb. He's taken under the wing of Uncle Peacock, but while he hasn't known a different upbringing, Birb does realise he's different to all of his friends. In a tale to rival that of Hans Christian Andersen, Birb heads out into the wider world to find out more about his heritage using his love of singing and bouncing. That adventure is getting closer to consoles now with the news that the game will hit PlayStation 4 in July.

It isn't just Birb that has a love of music, though. The forest has its own musical beat and has interactive elements that players can move to that rhythm to create a symphony. The game is filled with mini-games and sound queues for players to find and complete, as well as boss battles that play out to their own tunes. Players will be rewarded for exploring, finding the many secret areas hidden throughout the forest and locating all of the feathers that have been blown through the trees, each of which will reveal more of the game's lore. You can see the gameplay in action in the latest trailer below.

You'll be able to create your own Songbird Symphony when the game is released worldwide on July 25th.
