The Anthem Demo's File Size, Release Date and More Have Been Revealed

By Sam Quirke, 5 months ago
We have discovered a new Xbox store page for Anthem's upcoming demo. The page reveals a few extra details about the demo, including a potential early download date and a hefty file size. While file sizes vary between Xbox and PlayStation, we imagine they will be somewhat similar. Here's the full description from the store:

Experience the world of Anthem™ ahead of launch during the Anthem Demo weekend. Suit up with the Ranger Javelin and unlock another Javelin of your choice for a preview of the adventures waiting in Anthem. Unleash Your Power. In a world left unfinished by the gods, a shadowy faction threatens all humankind. Only you stand between the Dominion and the ancient power they covet. Team up as heroes in this cooperative action-RPG from BioWare™ and EA. *DEMO DETAILS AVAILABLE AT PERSISTENT INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED TO PLAY.
On the store portal there are a few more details. According to EA's official press release, which we covered previously, the demo will be available to EA Access members or pre-order customers first from January 25th, with the demo going open to the public from February 1st. However the below store page suggests that the demo will be released on the 23rd.

This may well be to compensate for the hefty file size of the demo. According to the store page it'll take up 23.58 GB of space.

You can find out all of the official details on the demo plans from EA's Anthem Demo page.

We've got the full list of Anthem trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
