With the new year comes a new chance at redemption for Fallout 76. Bethesda noted back in 2018 that a plethora of new patches and updates would arrive for players in January, and next week marks the first of many. In addition to this, as promised in December, Bethesda has now provided the details on how to claim the Fallout Classic Collection on PC as well.
Featuring over 150 various in-game fixes, the next update is mostly set to fix performance issues, as well as a few bugs too. It will first launch on PC, before eventually arriving to consoles early next week to make sure any underlying issues are addressed. Furthermore, another update is scheduled for Monday, which will focus on broken quests, glitched perks, and common exploits found throughout the game.
As for the Fallout Classic Collection, Bethesda has offered a simple guide on how to claim the reward on PC.
Don't forget that players are only eligible if they played Fallout 76 in 2018. The collection should be automatically linked to your account upon starting up the launcher.
- Download and run the Bethesda Launcher for PC
- Sign in to Bethesda.net with your account credentials
- Install the Fallout Classic Collection titles from the Games menu
This is just the start for Bethesda. According to the announcement, there's plenty of new updates planned for the future, many of which are derived from community feedback. Players can expect yet another patch to appear at the end of the month.
