DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Delayed By Two Weeks

By Rebecca Smith, 7 months ago
When it comes to the new year, most games aim to release in February or March to avoid the post-holiday slump. DEAD OR ALIVE 6 is one of those, originally scheduled to be released on February 15th. I say "originally", because Team Ninja and KOEI Tecmo have today announced that the game has been delayed by a couple of weeks and will now be released at the start of March.

The delay is due to the Team Ninja's wish to balance the title more than it is right now, as well as to add more enhancements. The game's Producer and Director Yohei Shimbori explains more:

The title's development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of DEAD OR ALIVE 6.
As mentioned above, this means that DOA6 will now avoid February completely; it will instead be released on March 1st.
