Devil May Cry 5: V Brings Friends to the Fight

In the recent trailer shown at this year's Game Awards, we saw the appropriately named new character V in action in upcoming hack-n-slash sequel Devil May Cry 5. Now we get a closer look at the new character and his fighting style, which differs considerably from returning established protagonists Dante and Nero. He uses summoned creatures — an eagle, panther and golem — to fight alongside him, which to me just seems lazy. The trailer also hints that, although hiring Dante to assist him, V is no fan of the silver haired demon hunter.

Devil May Cry 5 is coming to Xbox One on March 8, 2019.
