Even Red Dead Online is jumping on the bandwagon of festive updates, though Rockstar appear to be keeping things subtle. Players strolling the streets have noticed that banjo and piano playing NPCs are getting in the spirit.
As seen in the below video, the pianist in Valentine has a sizeable retinue of Christmas carols that he will cycle through if you hang around. YouTuber Tony StrongStyle claims that the carols are all period-appropriate and even provides composition dates, though he admits in the comments that his church-going memories are a little hazy.
It's not just the pianists getting involved either; here's a lone banjo player in Lemoyne noodling away with some festive tunes:
