PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is likely arriving on PlayStation 4 this December if a slew of leaks and industry affirmations are anything to go by.
As Eurogamer have handily summed up, a number of incidents have led to the majority of the industry agreeing that the game is probably coming to PlayStation in time for the holidays. First off there was a Korean ratings board posting that suggested that the game was coming soon, and more recently the serial leaker of the PSNProfiles forums has re-emerged with alleged server images and content IDs ready for the PlayStation Store. Following this last leak, reliable industry analyst Daniel Ahmad weighed in on ResetEra to affirm that the game is likely coming out next month.
Microsoft have hinted at some sort of announcement for PUBG at their XO18 event this weekend — while we doubt they'll take up precious time announcing a release on their rival's console, we wonder whether any new content revealed at the event will release in conjunction with the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
We'll update you if an official announcement is made.
