Days Gone Delayed Until April; Concrete Genie Arriving in the Spring

By Sam Quirke,
In a general state of play update, PlayStation Blog have revealed some release dates on the console's exclusives. Days Gone has been delayed until April, but Concrete Genie has a more solid Spring 2019 launch window.

Bend Studio's zombie-infested action adventure Days Gone was supposed to release in February but has now been moved to April 26th 2019. The PlayStation Blog specifically mentions how "crowded" February 2019 is looking, which is an interesting admission — but Bend Studio will take the time to give the game more polish.

Elsewhere, Concrete Genie has had a confirmed release window of Spring 2019. Since its reveal the unusual urban fantasy title — in which a teenager paints living landscapes on the walls of his home town — has seen few developer updates and no word on when it would release. This is a small but welcome update on its progress.

Sadly, there's no news on the many other console exclusives that do not have a release window as yet. We'll let you know if the likes of DEATH STRANDING, The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima get an official date.
