Fortnite Deep Freeze Bundle Headed to Stores This November

Fortnite might be free-to-play, but there are still plenty of ways to "buy" into it. The game is getting a new physical and digital bundle in time for the festive season, called the Deep Freeze Bundle.

The Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle will contain the game itself plus some premium content, including the Frostbite Outfit, Cold Front Glider, Chill-Axe Pickaxe, Freezing Point Back Bling, and 1,000 V-Bucks. Note the small print on that box art above: there's no disc in the physical version, just a couple of download codes. It will set you back £24.99 in the UK or $29.99 in the US. The Deep Freeze Bundle release date is November 16th. You can already pre-order the set from and Amazon, among other retailers.

Effectively this is a seasonal cosmetic bundle given a marginally physical form, which will nevertheless be top on many kids' festive gift lists. In fairness it represents a fairly decent value for money for a starter set, assuming that the player in question is intending to get involved in the monetized side of the game — we'd estimate that the cosmetics would set a player back at least 3,000 V-Bucks sold separately, which equates to roughly the price of this bundle. Effectively the bundle is throwing in an extra 1,000 V-Bucks on top, which isn't too shabby and sits fairly equably alongside the other starter packs available for the game.

We've got the full list of Fortnite trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.

This game was featured in our Best PS4 Third-Person Shooters Available in 2019 article. Why not check it out to see what else made the cut?
