DiRT Rally 2.0 has been announced by Codemasters, a sequel to the popular rally spin-off that puts players in charge of classic rally cars in simulation style. Here's the announcement trailer:
Dirt Rally 2.0 is the official game of the FIA World Rallycross Championship and will take players to six global locations taking on hand-crafted stages. Iconic cars from rally history will be available alongside modern machines. Cars from the 2018 World Championship and eight official WorldRX circuits will be available at launch.
Pre-orders of Dirt Rally 2.0 include access to a bonus vehicle — the Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec. The Deluxe Edition includes two seasons of post-launch content, each with three new locations and five early unlocks for a range of vehicles:
- Ford Escort MkII
- Lancia Stratos
- Subaru Impreza 1995
- AUDI Sport quattro S1 E2
- Ford Fiesta OMSE SuperCar Lite
Deluxe Edition pre-orders will grant players four days of early access to the finished game too, along with some in-game bonuses and high reward events.
The Dirt Rally 2.0 release date is 26th February 2019.

Breakout
A mass break-out at the San Amaro prison has brought to the streets a dangerous and unpredictable set of enemies. With a city-wide ordinance in place, the RICO team is drafted in to help.
A deadly new gang of prisoners, some still dressed in their prison-issue jumpsuits, and with weapons stolen from the prison’s armoury are holing up across the city.
In turn, players have access to a set of new weapons.
• G-18 - Fully automatic pistol
• USG45 - High calibre sub-machine gun
• K36 - Short-barrel special forces rifle
PLUS: A new lockdown level sees the player trapped in the San Amaro prison facing down the escaped prisoners trying to take them out.
