PlayStation Plus Free Games for October Include Friday the 13th and Laser League

By Sam Quirke, 1 year ago
October begins next week (how on earth did that happen so fast?), so it's about time that we found out what our PS Plus free games will be for the month. There will be a massive five new titles on PlayStation 4 this month thanks to cross purchase, with last month's Knowledge is Power still available. The headliners are Friday the 13th and Laser League — curious choices, as both developers have been beset by problems. The former has had to scrap all future DLC plans due to licensing problems, while the developer of the latter has pretty much ceased to exist, with all future maintenance and development currently in the hands of the publisher.

You'll need to hurry up if you haven't yet downloaded the PS Plus games for September — the switch over will be on October 2nd (though Knowledge is Power will hang around until November 6th). Log on and grab these as soon as possible!
We'll be back with November's PS Plus games as soon as they're announced!
