The Jump Force release date is February 2019. Bandai Namco have not yet revealed a specific release date. We'll update this story when we receive the final release date.

The Jump Force Collector's Edition is $259.99

Bandai Namco have recently revealed that the Jump Force Collector's Edition will clock in at a costly $259.99 in the US, and £289.99 in the UK.

In the UK edition you will get:
  • A Steelbook case
  • The Season Pass with nine additional characters
  • Three 28x28cm art boards featuring Naruto, Luffy and Goku
  • A 30cm diorama statue featuring the same three heroes.
The US version, for some reason, doesn't seem to include the Season Pass — which explains why it's cheaper.

Jump Force New Characters Revealed

The latest additions to the Jump Force list of characters are brand new character designs from the mind of Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball and a designer for Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest and Blue Dragon. The four new characters are J-Force Director Glover, the cutesy Navigator, and the villainous duo Galena and Kane. Our guess is that these guys are going to play central roles in the overarching narrative that brings the Shonen Jump heroes together in the first place. Here's a short trailer showing off the new characters' concept art. It's not clear if this characters will become playable fighters or simply be part of the story.

Yu Yu Hakusho is also getting representation in the game — Yusuke and Toguro from that series are also joining the fight, as revealed in the latest teaser from the Tokyo Game Show:

These four new characters join an ever growing roster. Here's who we know is joining the fight:

Original Characters: Director Glover, Navigator, Galena, Kane
These characters are story related and may not form part of the final fighter roster.

What is Jump Force?

Jump Force is a 3v3 tag team brawler featuring iconic Manga characters from series like Dragon Ball Z, One Piece and Naruto. Players make their own custom team of three fighters into brawls against the backdrop of famous real-world locations such as Times Square and the Alps. It coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Weekly Jump magazine that made many of these iconic heroes famous. The game will feature online multiplayer with an avatar creator, though details on this have yet to be shared.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Jump Force trophies.
