Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Coming to PlayStation 4

By Sam Quirke,
Another much-loved classic from another platform is headed to PlayStation 4 in a season brimming with remasters and platform cross-pollination. The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is being released for the first time on a PlayStation console, launching in 2019. Capcom made the announcement at the Tokyo Game Show, and quickly followed the news up with an English language trailer.

In case you didn't know, Phoenix Wright is a series of Japanese adventure games following the career of hotshot attorney at law Phoenix Wright. Famed for its ridiculously dramatic courtroom battles, the original trilogy won people over with its iconic comic-book style exclamations and bizarre cases. If the above trailer is anything to go by, its beloved Nintendo DS soundtrack is being ported over intact.

According to Gematsu, the trilogy features all chapters of the three original games: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice For All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations. It'll have Japanese and English language settings too.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is due at some point in Early 2019.
