One Piece World Seeker Delayed to 2019

The open-world action title One Piece: World Seeker, based on the popular manga and anime, never had a solid release date — though we have been repeatedly told that the game is arriving in 2018. Sadly that's no longer the case. Bandai Namco have pushed it to next year for some polish.

Describing the game as "the most ambitious One Piece game ever", the publisher said they want more development time to "ensure we match fans' expectations". It's an unfortunate delay, but here's some Gamescom footage and screens we've yet to share to help us through the bitter One Piece-less winter months.

One Piece World Seeker still does not have a firm release date, only a broad deadline of "2019".

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the One Piece: World Seeker trophies.
