The next major FromSoftware game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice appeared at this year's Gamescom, and with it came a release date, collector's edition details and gameplay features.
In a timely coincidence with the latest details from Devil May Cry 5, the "one-armed wolf" protagonist can attach customisable tools to his Shinobi prosthetic limb, allowing the player to diversify their approach to enemies — as well as using the grappling hook to change up their traversal. Sword combat with the functioning arm makes use of special Sword Arts as well as regular attacks, while a new Resurrection mechanic allows players to resurrect immediately on the spot, "even after a hasty death".
The game's Collector's edition is available to pre-order on the official site and contains the full game in a steelbook, a 7" statue of the protagonist, a map, an artbook, a digital soundtrack and some replica coins from the game. (Digital pre-orders are live as well.)
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice launches on March 22nd 2019.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice trophies.
