Fortnite Drops a Heavy Sniper Rifle into Battle Royale

The next weapon to arrive in Fortnite (PS4)'s Battle Royale mode is the Heavy Sniper Rifle, capable of dealing significant damage to opponents and even more destruction to buildings.

Meanwhile over in Save the World, Thora is a Scandinavian-looking machinist who can get husks lured into traps. She'll be made available later today in the Event store.

You can see the full patch notes here, but other highlights include a new Limited Time Mode called Soaring 50s. Designed to be a more mobile twist on 50 vs 50, players can redeploy their gliders if they're 10 feet up in the air. There will be more bounce and launch pads to make this easier. There's also a Sniper Shootout LTM with the new Heavy Sniper added.
