The Division's Survival DLC Free For A Limited Time From This Thursday

By Sam Quirke, 1 year ago
As with the Sacred Shield last month, it appears another event in Tom Clancy's The Division is allowing players to access one of the game's DLCs for a limited time. This time it's the Survival expansion, and all players can get involved for free from August 16th until August 22nd as an incentive to go after the new reward. To earn the "Phoenix" Shield, players need to extract five items, survive five hours and kill five Hunters in Survival.

May Free Weekend Screens

As before, it's unlikely that this will mean that you can download the DLC for free and keep it forever; in the last event the DLC was simply made free to download and access while playing in the event period, before sneaking back behind a pay wall. You can try it for yourself from August 16th.

We've got the full list of Tom Clancy's The Division trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.

It was quite a big hit.

Plus, it got a lot better once the DLC arrived.
