By Sam Quirke, 2 months ago
FIFA 19's Ultimate Team will feature Division Rivals and new ICONS for legendary players, according to a new update from EA on the PlayStation Blog and in their new video. Also coming to the footballing franchise's most popular mode is the UEFA Champions League.

Division Rivals will match you against players at a similar skill levels to compete for a week. At the end of the week your results are tallied and you will be given a choice of rewards based on your performance.

The Champions League is already a big part of the base game, but its inclusion in Ultimate Team means that there will be ways to both follow along with the real-world event and also celebrate defining moments in the tournament's history. ICONS are being added to players with particularly bright careers in the European club game, including Steven Gerrard and Johan Cruyff.

FIFA 19 arrives on September 28th.
