Following on from the Double-Action Revolver challenge, Rockstar have announced another weapon-based cross-over for Grand Theft Auto Online and the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2.
This time around, players will find the location of the brutal Stone Hatchet melee weapon once they have turned in five bounties (dead or alive) to the matron of rough justice, Maude Eccles. You may remember her from the single-player campaign, where she tasked Trevor with tracking down four criminals on the run. As of the recent After Hours update she's back in action, and wants you to go on the hunt for felons.
Once you have received the coordinates of the Stone Hatchet and pick it up, you'll need to get 25 kills with it in order to unlock the weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2. This shouldn't be too hard as the weapon comes with a Rampage buff, meaning that you'll take less damage and regenerate health quicker if you chain kills together. You'll net GTA$250,000 for your trouble too.
If you didn't get that Double-Action Revolver before, you still can. Look out for an email from [email protected] to initiate a treasure hunt to the antique weapon. Get fifty headshots with it and you'll unlock it in RDR 2, as well as get another cool quarter million bucks in GTA Online
Red Dead Redemption 2 releases on October 26th.
