Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session Heads West on PlayStation 4

By Sam Quirke,
If you've been to any major arcade in Japan in the last fifteen years, chances are you saw a rhythm game featuring taiko drums with cute faces. That game, Taiko no Tatsujin, is finally coming to the West on PlayStation 4. It turned up on the console in Japan last October, after a Vita version appeared in Japan back in 2015.

The percussive rhythm game will feature all sorts of iconic songs: tracks from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kemono Friends, Osomatsu San, Hatsune Miku, and Touhou Project will appear alongside Disney favorites like Frozen and Zootopia. The developers have included some of their favourites from the Tekken series, Tales of Berseria, Ridge Racer, and [email protected] too. Classical fans won't miss out, as there will be categories for fans of Rossini, Offenback, and Carmen among others.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session arrives in the West on November 2nd.
