Vampyr Gets Two New Difficulty Modes

By Sam Quirke,
DONTNOD Entertainment's Vampyr has had only a small improvements update since it launched, but the next patch brings more significant change. As well as the usual fixes and upgrades, the patch will contain two new difficulty modes.

Vampyr

"Story Mode" will reduce the emphasis on combat, allowing for players to simply enjoy the narrative playing out without too much trouble. "Hard Mode" takes the opposite tack, scaling up combat difficulty but also reducing the amount of XP earned from kills. Players will have to embrace more citizens of London if they wish to grow powerful.

The update doesn't have a firm launch date but is expected at some point this summer.
