THQ Nordic Bringing Biomutant and More to Gamescom 2018

THQ Nordic have released their sizzle reel for Gamescom 2018 which starts in about a month. Headlining their roster of games is Darksiders III, which the public will be getting their hands on for the first time.

Also featured in the trailer and playable at the event is the intriguing open-world title Biomutant revealed at Gamescom last year. Attendees will also be able to try Generation Zero, the 4-player co-op shooter announced last month where robots threaten humanity in the Swedish countryside. THQ Nordic announced at the end of last week that they will be looking after worldwide publishing on the behalf of Avalanche Studios, original creators of Just Cause and currently working on RAGE 2

Fade to Silence will also be playable at the event — this one is a chilly survival game where players will contend with dynamic weather systems and deadly creatures, as we saw in a gameplay trailer at the beginning of the year.

Also present at the event, though not confirmed to be playable, will be the Destruction Derby homage Wreckfest (currently slated for a November release on PlayStation 4) and VR god simulator Townsmen. The latter is currently only on Steam for Vive and Oculus headsets with no sign of a PlayStation VR conversion.

We'll keep you updated with the latest happenings from Gamescom when the event starts on August 21st.
