Friday the 13th Ultimate Collector’s Slasher Edition announced

Thanks to a legal claim, Gun Media are no longer working on content updates for Friday the 13th: The Game. But they're not quite done with the game, as there are two new physical editions on the way.

The Ultimate Slasher Edition ($39.99 in the US) includes the game and all available premium DLC (excluding some anticipated content like Savini Jason, presumably locked behind the legal claim). The Ultimate Slasher Collector's edition has all of the same content but also comes with a NECA Friday the 13th Part 3 Jason mask replica. That one will set you back $69.99 in the US. You can pre-order either version now from major retailers like Amazon — it seems it may only be available in North America as it's not showing at any major retailers elsewhere.

The Friday the 13th special editions will be available from September 4th.
