New Champion Koga Arrives in Paladins

By Sam Quirke,
Update 1.3 has arrived to Paladins, and it's a big one. If you want all of the details you should head over to the official patch notes, but be warned — the list is huge. The main highlights are the addition of new Champion Koga The Lost Hand, and a new Team Deathmatch Map called Abyss which is featured in the below trailer.

Koga was once a nameless street rat, but he challenged the tyrant Zhin who then granted him a new life in the Thousand Hands Guild. Unfortunately deceptions and internal politics eventually forced Koga to flee Zhin's rage. He fights for the Paladins while looking for the person who betrayed him. Koga doesn't have any cooldowns in his abilities — instead, they cost him Energy to use.

As well as the new Deathmatch map, Throne is being added to the roster for Custom Team Deathmatch maps — it's the same throne room that was found at the top of the Abyssal Spire. Multi-Queue has returned, which means Team Deathmatch and Onslaught Queues are now separated.

Battle Pass #2 has been revealed. It's 25% faster and contains 100% more unlocks, including three epic skins and a dragon mount. There's been some gameplay improvements too, such as allowing you to finish sorting your loadout even if your match queue has popped up.

Update 1.3 is now live on PlayStation 4.

We've got the full list of Paladins trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
