In three months' time, Battlefield V will be released to the masses. To make sure nobody forgets that, DICE is currently running a Road to Battlefield V event where players can earn rewards for the upcoming title by completing actions in Battlefield 1. Certain DLC for two of the franchise's previous titles is also available for free. The event has entered stage 2, and this week it brings along more free DLC for Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4.

Turning Tides

Until July 17th, players can download the "Turning Tides" DLC for Battlefield 1 for free. Meanwhile, Battlefield 4 players on PlayStation 4 can download the "Second Assault" DLC for free.

Players who complete the weekly in-game mission on Battlefield 1 will earn a Gewehr 95 weapon skin for use in Battlefield V when it is released on October 19th, as well as The Canadian Cur skin for the Huot Auto Rifle in Battlefield 1 itself. Finally, there's a Naval Gazing themed playlist that centres on Conquest mode for a variety of maps, such as Emperor's Edge and Fao Fortress. Both the weekly mission and the curated playlist will end on July 17th.
