The God Eater Series has never had a major instalment on a home console, with the first and second titles appearing on PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita respectively. God Eater 3 will be arriving on PlayStation 4, and since the original announcement we've seen a few details including a comprehensive look at the game's weapons.
Bandai Namco now want to introduce us to a new God Eater called Zeke Pennywort, who had a rough childhood but cares deeply for his friends. Zeke has one estranged brother and currently lives with his youngest brother in Pennywort.
Along with the new God Eater comes a new Aragami, this one named Barbarius. His left hand is a drill that he can use to dive into the ground and hit his opponent's blind spot. He can throw up an ice wall, too.
Aragami are returning from previous instalments of the game too, revamped for the third game.
God Eater 3 doesn't have a release date but we know it's coming to PlayStation 4. Interestingly this latest announcement only mentioned a release in the "Americas", but it's not clear if it will turn up in Europe as well.
We've got the full list of God Eater 3 trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
