After spending over a year in Early Access on PC, developer Motion Twin announced an August release window for the console versions of Dead Cells a month ago. The French developer has now locked down a more concrete release date for their "Frankenstein's monster" — their words, not ours — of roguelite and Metroidvania, which they revealed with a trailer for the game. You can check out the trailer below and unlike last time, this one is new!
As you can see from the title of that trailer, Dead Cells comes to Xbox One on August 7th, and those who pre-order will receive a 20% discount off the usual price of US$24.99/£19.99/€24.99.
We've got the full list of Dead Cells trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
