Easiest PlayStation Trophy Lists from June 2018

By Sam Quirke,
As July begins, it's time to reflect on the month just passed. The friends we made, the feats we accomplished and the trophies we secured. Most importantly, we can draw your attention to the games released in June that seem to have an easy road to completion. We had a basketball sequel no-one was particularly asking for, a kart racer that looks a couple of generations old and — surprise! — some localisations of visual novels. Some of these are discounted on the PlayStation store for limited time so if you really want to snap up those shiny trophies, now might be a good time to make a purchase.

Help us improve our listings by submitting your completion times when you finish off a trophy list. Not sure how to submit your estimates? Check out our guide!

Muv-Luv (English localization, Vita)

Muv-Luv (Vita)

£34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99

Muv-Luv is a visual novel, and for fans of the medium it rates pretty highly. Like many visual novels it follows a young teen as their regular high-school world is turned upside down. This time, the hero is dragged into the mech dystopia of an alternate dimension. Play times will vary, but the gameplay amounts to no more than progressing through the story.

Muv-Luv Alternative (English localization, Vita)

Muv-Luv Alternative

£34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99

If you're playing through Muv-Luv anyway, why not get the full experience? Alternative brings the story to its epic conclusion. Once again you can expect a completion with minimal gameplay effort required.

Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn

Carousel Image

£18.99 / $19.99 / €23.99

If you were gaming in the Super NES / Genesis era you might remember basketball star Shaquille O'Neal's attempt to break into the side-scrolling fighting game scene. It had a mixed reception at the time, yet somehow over 20 years later Big Deez Productions felt that it needed a sequel. Quality aside, it does seem to be a relatively quick and easy completion — finishing the list shouldn't take you more than four or five hours.

Survive! Mr Cube (European release)

Survive!

£9.99 / $14.99 / €12.99 (RRP)

It's certainly not setting the world on fire (it's currently sitting at a single 1-star review on site) but this voxel-art roguelite has the advantage of being pretty easy to finish off — it has a very high completion percentage across its regional variants and general buzz suggests that you can get the vast majority of the trophies in the first thirty minutes. PlayStation Plus members can get 20% off in the EU store — the game has been out since April in North America. You can also stack with Japanese, Korean and Hong Kong/Taiwan versions of the game as well.

Super Kids Racing

super kids racing

£7.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 (RRP)

Super Kids Racing has an even more unfortunate rating than Survive, earning just half a star on the North American version. The 25 European players remain tight-lipped offering no review scores at all, but they do tell us how easy this game must be — all but one of them has already completed it, and they did so pretty fast. Unfortunately there's no Platinum for this one, but cleaning up the list appears to be a simple matter of racing around the tracks collecting as many coins as you can. It looks like it should have been released a couple of generations ago, but at least it won't take up too much of your time. It's also slightly cheaper than full price at the moment — there's 25% off for European and Australian PS Plus members and 40% for everyone if you're in North America.

Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends

Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends

£11.99 / $14.99 / €14.99

Artifex Mundi are the ever-reliable source of reasonably decent adventure games with an emphasis on hidden-object puzzles — and the list is always reasonably easy. While not many TT members have picked this up yet, our friends over at TrueAchievements report a 4-5 hour completion. As with all of this publisher's games, it'll go even quicker with a guide. This is the third game in the Eventide Series, and you can pick up all three in a bundle on the NA and EU PlayStation stores if you want a complete set.

If you pick any of these up, why not write up some trophy guides to help your fellow hunters? You can even volunteer to write the full walkthrough if we don't have one already!
