Kingdom Come: Deliverance Adds Hardcore Mode and Teases Upcoming DLC

By Ethan Anderson, 1 year ago
Kingdom Come: Deliverance has become an even tougher survival RPG with the addition of Hardcore Mode in a free update that is live now. The mode removes HUD elements and autosaves, makes combat and world navigation more realistic, and adds new perks. At least two perks will need to be chosen on Hardcore Mode, and with names such as Claustrophobia, Brittle Bones, and Nightmares, it is easy to tell that these "perks" actually hinder players.

Alongside the release of Hardcore Mode, publisher Deep Silver also provided a teaser trailer for the upcoming "From the Ashes" DLC. In this DLC, players are given the opportunity to build a new settlement from the ground up. The trailer below gives a short look at what exactly that might entail.

You will be able to create your own village in Bohemia when "From the Ashes" releases in July.

We've got the full list of Kingdom Come: Deliverance trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
