Ghost Giant Developer Interview Explores A Spectral Friendship

By Sam Quirke,
Klaus Lyngeled and Olov Redmalm from Zoink Games were yet another duo of developers to take a well-worn seat on the PlayStation E3 sofa. They chat about their upcoming VR project Ghost Giant, announced just before the conference kicked off.

You play as the spirit guardian of a lonely kid called Louis who works on a sunflower garden with his mother. You support Louis on his adventure by manipulating the environment around the charming town of Sancourt and helping him solve the townsfolk's problems — though only Louis can see you. The developers discuss their ambitions to make the player take an active and immersive role in the emerging friendship between the ghost and the boy, something they think VR is very capable of achieving.

Ghost Giant does not yet have a release date but is coming to PlayStation VR.
