Dreams E3 Preview Explores the Concept of Dream Surfing

By Sam Quirke,
After some strange cameos in Sony's E3 press briefing, Dreams has been getting a lot more coverage during the main conference itself, including an on-stage gameplay demo highlighting the creation tools available in the game.

The latest preview discusses playing other people's creations, or "dream surfing". In the video below you can see two of Media Molecule's studio team exploring community-created levels and short animations, using search functionality and "dream surfing" where the game takes you through a playlist of experiences. Finally we see the return of the heavy metal banana from PlayStation Experience 2017, and Bogdan from Media Molecule shows off the insanely versatile game, animation and music creation engine that forms the basis of the game.

Media Molecule hinted that beta of the game should be arriving later in the year, and they thanked their supporters for their patience while the studio works hard to deliver the final product.

We've got the full list of Dreams trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
