Dragon Quest XI Trailer Tells the Legend of the Luminary

Calling all Dragon Quest fans! Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is nearly upon us, and Square Enix used their E3 2018 briefing to show off another story trailer for the game, this time focusing on the hero and their quest in "The Legend of the Luminary":





The trailer arrived with a shed-load of screenshots showing off Dragon Quest's signature art style:



With a release date just around the corner it's time to start looking at those collector's editions and pre-order incentives. The "Edition of Light" version includes a reversible cover, two accessories to restore MP and HP respectively, and three Seeds of Skill which confer skill points when consumed.



The grander "Edition of Lost Time" version comes with everything in "Edition of Light", but also a 128-page hardback art book, a 2-CD Symphonic Suite of the game's music, a cloth map of the land of Erdrea and a Steelbook case to put it all in. The owner of this edition will also get additional consumables in game: A Pep Pop to instantly pep up all allies and an extra 15 Seeds of Skill.



Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age arrives on PlayStation 4 on September 4th 2018 for Western audiences. It's already available in Japan.
