Sushee Shows The Process Of Rebuilding A Level In Fear Effect Reinvented

By Andy Mills,
For the upcoming Fear Effect Reinvented, Sushee Games has been showing us peeks behind-the-scenes in a series of videos for the title. The French studio is back again with another look at the game development process behind building a remake.

Fear Effect Reinvented

While previous videos on motion capture and level design could presumably be applicable to most games, the latest is perhaps something much more unique to a remaster or remake. The video demonstrates the process behind re-building a level for a remake, including replaying the original and mapping out the levels on paper, to finally adding the basic blocks of what the rebuilt level will look like. There are no finished levels in this one, however; Sushee doesn't want to spoil the surprise it seems.

There's no release date for Fear Effect Reinvented at the moment, but with the title being published as part of the Square Enix Collective, perhaps we'll hear more about the title at their E3 conference tomorrow.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Fear Effect Reinvented trophies.
