FIFA 19 Releases in September and Will Include the Champions League License

By Dave Horobin,
EA has officially announced the latest iteration of their annual soccer series. FIFA 19 will be released in September, and will this year include UEFA Champions League content, along with the additions of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup.

Previously licensed to the PES franchise, FIFA 19 will allow players to compete in the "pinnacle of club football competition" in a new standalone Champions League game mode. You'll play with Alex Hunter in the finale of his story titled The Journey: Champions, and in Ultimate Team, which will feature "live and authentic content from the world's most prestigious club competitions, including the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League."

To celebrate the announcement, EA also revealed that there will be a free trial available for FIFA 18, which will include the recently added free World Cup Update.

FIFA 19 releases on September 28th.
