Insurgency: Sandstorm Delayed

Insurgency: Sandstorm is the latest title from New World Interactive, a developer that prides itself on being a team of hobbyists simply working to make the best games they possibly can. Their first title, Insurgency, was well-received on PC, and now the sequel is backed by Focus Home Entertainment, a rising publisher who's helped put out quite a few quality games. With that background, it'd be perfectly understandable if you were excited to try out the upcoming FPS.

Their latest stream reveals quite a lot of what's coming if you want to dig deeper into the game, although I'll note there's not any actual gameplay so it may not be your cup of tea. If you'd prefer to read, they have a somewhat detailed blog post up on the official website.

In the bad news category, while the PC version is coming out later this year, the console versions have been delayed until early next year.
