Stardew Valley Is Finally Headed To PS Vita

A lot of you will have at least heard of Stardew Valley by now, one of the most popular indie titles in the last couple of years. Developer ConcernedApe has been busily cooking up a multiplayer mode for a future update as well as porting the game to several platforms. Up until this point, fans have been frustrated to find that the PS Vita has not been visited by this peaceful pixellated farm simulator. Luckily ConcernedApe has revealed via a PlayStation Blog that not only is the game definitely still coming to Sony's handheld, but it's arriving before the end of the month.

The good news is that the game will be Cross-Buy; you only need to buy the game once to play it on both PlayStation 4 and on the Vita. However the future of updates on the platform is unknown, and we already know from the publisher's blog post back in September that the upcoming multiplayer mode simply cannot be ported to the Vita.

Stardew Valley will be available to download on PS Vita from May 22nd.
