M-Rated Party Game Awkward Announced

Snap Finger Click, who recently released It's Quiz Time, has announced Awkward. The developer is touting the game's ESRB rating in its advertising, describing Awkward as the "M-rated party game."

The game has a simple premise: asking players to choose between two answers about themselves. But the questions get progressively more heated and may "test relationships and disclose secrets that participants never intended to reveal." Players will have to guess which answer their friends chose, so what everyone really thinks of each other will come out as the game progresses.

Awkward has over 5,000 questions, which were written by party game veterans Danny Gallagher (Quiplash, Fibbage 2) and Joanna Haslam (Buzz!, It’s Quiz Time), and allows gameplay for one to six players. Awkward also has built-in compatibility with the streaming services from Mixer, Twitch and YouTube for up to 500,000 participants in which viewers can guess the host's answer.

Awkward launches for PlayStation 4 on June 5th at US$11.99 / £9.99 / €12,99.
