EGX Rezzed 2018: The Art of Creating Chaos in Warhammer: Vermintide 2

By Rebecca Smith,
Over the last month, and even as recently as today, we've heard plenty of samples of Warhammer: Vermintide 2's soundtrack, but not a lot else. At EGX Rezzed 2018, developer Fatshark took a different direction. They dedicated a whole 30 minute presentation to the game's artwork.

Fatshark's concept artist Patrik Rosander took to the stage to present a behind the scenes glimpse at the concept art the team used to craft the game's levels and overall appearance. While the first game revelled in its grim and dark visual style, the sequel looks to break away from that, including visual touches such as bolder colours and daylight. You can see the presentation in its entirety below.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will arrive for consoles in the future.
