Digital Sun Games Announces Release Date For Moonlighter

By Andy Mills, 8 months ago
Originally funded through crowdfunding website Kickstarter to the tune of $134,276 back in mid-2016, Moonlighter is an action-RPG rogue-lite inspired by the likes of Rogue Legacy, The Binding of Isaac and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Players will have to balance the dungeon-crawling associated with the genre with main character Will's day job as a shopkeeper. Almost two years on from the Kickstarter, Spanish developer Digital Sun Games has announced the game's release date.

The date was announced via the game's latest trailer. Coming in at just under three minutes long, the trailer provides a good look at Will's backstory before providing a look at what he'll be getting himself into.

Moonlighter opens for business on PlayStation 4 on May 29th.
